The Howard Community Health Foundation (HCHF) is a nonprofit organization created in 1998 to promote health and wellness in Howard County. We set a strategic vision for research, public education and community engagement to improve health outcomes, supported by the Horizon Foundation. Established following the sale of Howard County General Hospital to Johns Hopkins Medicine, HCHF continues to guide the work of safeguarding health in Howard County, supported by the Horizon Foundation today.
